Studio plan guide

Your events.
Your domain.

Give every client a polished, on-brand RSVP experience. Connect a domain you already own—or create a dedicated subdomain—in a few simple steps.

Before you begin

One beautiful address for
every event you create.

You’ll need an active Studio subscription, a domain you control and access to its DNS settings. Set the domain up once in Settings → Account and it will be available for all your event invitation links.

A domain you own

DNS provider access

01

Add the DNS record

Sign in wherever you manage your domain - such as GoDaddy, Namecheap or Cloudflare - and open the DNS manager. Add one CNAME record.

Type

Name / Host

CNAME

invite

cname.vercel-dns.com

You may replace invite with another subdomain

Keep the default TTL unless your provider requires otherwise

Save the record; DNS can take up to 48 hours

02

Enter the domain in RSVPeasy

In RSVPeasy, go to Settings → Account and scroll to Custom domain. Enter the complete subdomain you created, for example invite.yourstudio.com.

Do not include https:// or an event path

Click Verify and Save

A Not verified badge is normal while DNS propagates

03

Wait for Verified

Once the DNS change is visible and RSVPeasy confirms the connection, the badge turns green and reads Verified.

Click Verify and Save again to re-check at any time

If it remains unverified, confirm the CNAME target is exactly cname.vercel-dns.com

Use Remove domain only when you want to disconnect it

04

Confirm the event
share link

Create or open an event and continue to the final Share step. The RSVP Link should now start with your custom domain instead of the default RSVPeasy address.

Choose a clear Custom URL slug for the event

Copy the RSVP link or download its QR code

Embed links should also use your custom domain

05

Test it as a guest

Paste the link into a private browser window or scan the QR code on your phone. The invitation page should load securely on your custom address.

Check the address bar shows your domain

Confirm the secure HTTPS padlock appears

Complete a test RSVP and verify the response reaches your dashboard

Best practice

Make the new link feel unmistakably yours.

Pair your custom domain with your Studio logo, colours and event templates. Guests get a consistent experience from invitation to confirmation.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

Do I need to purchase a new domain?

No. You can connect a subdomain of a domain you already own, such as invite.yourstudio.com. This keeps your RSVP links connected to your existing brand without affecting your main website.

Will connecting a subdomain affect my existing website?

No. Adding a subdomain such as invite.yourstudio.com will not replace or interfere with your main website at yourstudio.com. It creates a separate branded address specifically for your RSVP links.

Can I choose a different word instead of “invite”?

Yes. You can use another subdomain that suits your business, such as rsvp.yourstudio.com, events.yourstudio.com or guests.yourstudio.com.

How long does verification take?

Verification may happen within a few minutes, but DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to update fully. You can return to Settings → Account and click Verify and Save again at any time.

Can I use the same custom domain for every client event?

Yes. Once your custom domain is verified, it can be used across all events created within your Studio account. Each event will have its own unique link using the custom URL slug you choose.

What happens to my existing event links?

Your custom domain will be used for your event links once it has been successfully verified. If you have already shared an RSVPeasy link, test both links before replacing it anywhere to make sure guests can still access the event.
