Create your event: start to finish

Create your invitation and online RSVP page in five simple steps. Customise your form, add your guest list and share invitations by SMS, email, link or QR code.

Create your invitation, set up a matching RSVP page and start collecting replies in five steps.

Your progress is saved automatically as you go. You can preview your RSVP form at any time by clicking the eye icon in the bottom-right corner.

To begin, log in to your RSVPeasy account and select Create event.

Step 1: Details — Add your invitation and event information

Start by choosing how you would like to add your invitation:

  • Upload your invitation: Upload an invitation you have already designed.

  • Create invitation: Design your invitation using Invitation Designer. You will need an active Premium Pass for your event or a Studio subscription to access this feature. Choose a template or start from scratch, customise your design, then save it and select Use this design.

Check the event details extracted from your invitation and complete any missing information. Review your event name, date, time, venue, address and RSVP deadline carefully.

These details help guests understand when and where your event is taking place, so make sure everything is correct before continuing.

Step 2: Form — Choose what your guests need to answer

Set up your RSVP form with the information you need to collect, including contact details, additional guests, children and dietary requirements. Add custom questions for anything else you need to know before the event.

You can also change the button text to suit your event. For example, use “Count me in!” and “Sorry, can’t make it” for a birthday, or “Joyfully accepts” and “Regretfully declines” for a wedding.

Use Custom links to add helpful information such as dress code, parking, accommodation, a gift registry or an itinerary. Each item can link to a website, open an uploaded PDF or display information directly. Add a clear title and choose an icon so guests can easily find what they need.

Step 3: Customise — Style your RSVP page

Adjust the fonts and colours to complement your invitation and create a consistent look across your event page.

Review your headings, body text and buttons, and choose colours that are easy to read against your background. Your selected font styles and colours also carry through to your RSVP form.

Use the preview to check how your invitation, event information and form look together, particularly on mobile.

Step 4: Guest List — Add your guests or skip this step

Add guests directly from your phone contacts, upload a spreadsheet or enter their details manually.

Check each guest’s name, email address, mobile number and the number of people included in their invitation. Adding a guest list helps you track who has been invited, who has replied and who is still pending.

If you would prefer to share your RSVP link or QR code yourself, you can skip this step and continue to Step 5.

Step 5: Share — send your invitation

Before sharing, open your RSVP page and check:

  • Your invitation displays correctly.

  • The event details and RSVP deadline are accurate.

  • Your form includes the questions you need.

  • Any links and PDFs open correctly.

  • The page is easy to read and use on a phone.

When you are ready, copy your RSVP link or use your event’s QR code to share it with guests. You can also send invitations through RSVPeasy by SMS or email, depending on your plan and available credits.

Guests can then open your page, view your invitation and event information, and submit their RSVP.

After sharing your event

Return to your event dashboard to track replies, review guest details and dietary requirements, and see who is still pending. You can also return to your event settings whenever you need to update the information.
